Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve user experience, and provide reporting and advertising information.

What cookies do we use?

We group cookies into three categories. You control the last two through the cookie preference banner shown on your first visit, or at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer.

1. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

Required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled. They include:

  • Session management (keeping you logged in to your account dashboard)
  • Security tokens (protecting form submissions against CSRF attacks)
  • Your saved cookie preference itself

2. Analytics cookies (optional)

Help us understand how visitors use our site which pages are visited most, where traffic comes from, and how long people spend reading documentation. This data is aggregated and used to improve the product and content.

3. Marketing and advertising cookies (optional)

If you accept marketing cookies, we and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of our ads and campaigns (conversion tracking)
  • Show you more relevant ads for our products on other websites and platforms (retargeting)
  • Build an interest profile based on the pages you visit on our site
  • Track actions across our site and, in some cases, across other websites you visit, via our advertising partners' pixels and tags

Advertising partners we may use include: Google Ads / Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, and similar ad-tech providers. When enabled, these partners may set their own cookies and receive data such as the pages you view, general device/browser information, and your interactions with our ads. Please see each partner's own privacy policy for how they process this data.

Marketing cookies are off by default. They are only activated after you explicitly click "Accept All" or enable "Marketing" in your cookie preferences.

How to manage cookies

You can control cookies through:

  • Our cookie preference banner (shown on first visit)
  • The "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer, at any time
  • Your browser settings, which allow you to block or delete cookies directly

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the account dashboard from functioning. Declining marketing cookies means you may still see our ads elsewhere, but they will be less tailored to you and won't be linked back to your visit on this site.
